Bluffton, IN — Crown Unlimited Machine announces it is now offering a complete range of CNC rotary draw bending machines. The new line will be engineered and built in the United States and will be known as Patriot™ RDB CNC benders. The CNC benders will be available in 26 models in sizes ranging from 10 mm to 150 mm and will include special purpose benders such as hairpin and serpentine benders. A veteran in the industry, Crown has been building a variety of bending machines since 1978.

The new Patriot RDB CNC rotary benders provide more capability and flexibility for difficult tube geometries. The benders handle up to 4 radii and tube diameters without the need to change tools. Featuring patented true bi-directional capability, the new line bends shapes which were formerly possible only on dedicated or multiple machines. They offer the most powerful, "plain English" software, to provide virtually limitless machine control options.

PATRIOT™ RDB 10 (3/8") TO 25 (1") CNC ROTARY DRAW BENDERS FEATURED IN NEW LITERATURE

Bluffton, IN — Patriot™ RDB 10 (3/8") through 25 (1") CNC rotary draw benders are featured in a new data sheet from Crown Unlimited Machine. Depending on the configuration, Patriot CNC rotary draw benders can handle difficult tube geometries, up to 4 radii and tube diameters with no tool change. With 17 models designed and built in the USA for the HVAC, automotive and appliance industries, the benders can be configured to meet specific applications.

The new data sheet describes standard and optional features and depicts the different models described. The CNC benders detailed in the literature feature kit-of-parts manufacture, open jaw collet, recapture and rising clamp. They are also equipped with the most user-friendly, most powerful software available, according to the company. The software has a programmable hitch or slave feed for any bend, fiber optic input/output interface and automatic crash prevention software. The control system is powered by an Intel Pentium processor and has a Windows-based PC.

A wide selection of options such as an automatic load and unload system, a single-axis option which has programmable axis for degree of bending only and a patented bi-directional feature that allows the machine to bend complex tubes by switching between clockwise and counter-clockwise bending automatically are available for the CNC benders. A wiper die, powered follower, single axis, 5/16C collet adapters, universal open jaw collet, multi-stack tooling and vertical clamping are also optional.

Bluffton, IN — A new data sheet from Crown Unlimited Machine. features Patriot™ RDB 32 (1 1/4") through 50 (2") CNC rotary draw benders that handle three different tube diameters and lengths with no tool change. The flexible CNC benders are used in tube fabrication for the HVAC, automotive and appliance industries. Part of a line of 17 models, designed and built in the USA, they can be configured to meet customers' specific needs.

Standard and optional features as well as photographs of the CNC benders are contained in the new literature. The Patriot CNC benders described in the data sheet feature open jaw collet, recapture, rising clamp, spring back compensation and digital scales for quick tool setting.
